An extension of my FEEL contextual and theoretical exploration into the current “dematerialisation” of design due to the rise of digital, was to create things that only exist in digital realms, and bring them to the physical one. One of these outcomes was a cassette and vinyl record based on coding.
The idea to express coding and programming in a casette tape and vinyl was based off of the forms found on old supercomputers, that is similar to that of the two objects. The use of colours, symbols, and the logo were inspired by programming language, along with the colours that are used to differentiate various aspects within code.
